SALMA commissions a custom wheel washing system for the largest steel company in Argentina
Installation of a wheel washing system in steel plants
In November 2019, the SELLA 6M-SS+ wheel washing system was commissioned, a specialized unit designed for cleaning all types of vehicles in accordance with the requirements set by TERNIUM ARGENTINA.
The system features a 6-meter-long extra-wide washing platform, accessed via metal ramps. In addition to the washing platform, two large sedimentation and recycling tanks were supplied, with a total capacity of 40,000 liters.
This installation stands as a benchmark within the sector, as TERNIUM carried out all electrical and connection works using fixed piping systems, along with the associated civil works for water collection and drainage.
