Automatic dust suppression system for hoppers
SALMA has developed a fully automated dust suppression system for mineral and bulk material hoppers, achieving excellent performance.
The system is based on generating a dense curtain of fine atomized water particles that block the passage of dust particles produced by the falling material into the hopper.
The misting system is activated only when a loading vehicle is detected preparing to discharge material into the hopper. All generated dust is captured by the water cloud, facilitating its precipitation to the ground.
The water curtain can be configured in such a way that prevents water from entering the hopper itself.
