Mist cannons equipped with a generator and high-capacity tank
Autonomous cannons for dust suppression in ports
At the end of 2023, SALMA delivered three autonomous mist cannons to the Port Authority of Seville, designed to control dust generated during port operations.
These autonomous units can be easily moved around the port facilities by tractor, wheel loader, or other heavy-duty towing vehicles, as they do not require a fixed water or electrical connection.
Each unit consists of a long-range mist cannon (with a reach of up to 80 meters), supplied by a 9,000-liter steel water tank and powered by a diesel generator, all mounted on a mobile two-axle chassis.
The equipment is also fitted with a chemical additive dosing system and can be operated remotely via a control unit.
